New Years Eve....

So our plans for tonight are pretty busy but going to be fun time. Our stake has rented out the entire YMCA building from 7pm to 1 am. Thats right everything is open the pool, basketball courts, dodgeball, game room, EVERYTHING. They hired a band and are going to have all kinds of fun lined up for the kids to ring in the new year. Kaitlyn is too little to be staying up that late and still not feeling totally better so she will be packing her bags and going over to Gma and Gpa house ~ she will be in bed by 8 i am sure. But the kids and I will be partying like its 1999 all night at the YMCA. I will bring the camera and get some good pictures. Hope you all are having a fun and safe New Years too!

Christmas 2008 at the Dolans....

We had a wonderful evening last night visiting and eating at the Dolans last night. It was great to see everyone and spend time together creating such wonderful memories. The kids were talking about it all the way home. We will get some of the pictures up here later today.

Merry Christmas Eve....

From our house to yours! So due to weather, car problems and everything else going on our Christmas cards and photos will be out in the mail late this year. But its ok we have all our family together to enjoy the snow and spend time getting ready for Christmas tomorrow morning.

Hope all are doing well in the snow! Just so thankful and happy we are all safe and warm.

IDIOT DRIVERS AND THIER AFFECTS ON MY LIFE....

Nothing is more frustrating than people on the road that do not take time to clean the ice and snow off of their car before they get onto the highway....

So poor David minding his own business today driving to work had a piece of ice fall off the truck in front of him bust the radiator in his car and ended up on the side of I-5 at 6 oclock this morning.

Looooooooooooooooong day short after paying to have the car towed (never have the WSP call for you - you have to pay the WSP charge of 150.00 per hour for towing instead of normal hook and mileage) and buying a new radiator - tomorrow morning David will be changing it out and hopefully going to work tomorrow!

Man sucks that other peoples stupidity can rreally fumble up your day huh?

Still Playing in the snow....

We were a little late in getting the snow but we are sure catching up fast! It has been lots of fun playing outside and sledding with the kids. Snow is still falling fast and sadly to say David still has to work Monday Tuesday and Wednesday...I know Still no update on friday and saturday we will let you know when we know. I guess its part of the job working for FedEx but hey I love my delivery man!

If you look at the Top Picture that is the place to sled around here everyone who is everyone is there! Its great the moms and dads are all sledding with the kids making jumps and just having a great time.

It's late and I am just up doing some last minute things for my nephew Madden's First Birthday Party tomorrow. I can't belive its been a year already but he is turning one tomorrow. We are going to his party tomorrow night it will be lots of fun. Hopefully I will have Pictures to put up shortly.

Not much new and exciting going on here just getting ready for the holidays and trying to keep up with daily events of having teens and a two year old.

Things are going well....

Just been super busy sorry have not been able to blog as often as we would like to keep up and keep in touch for those that read and are following. Not sure things will slow down much before the New Year but we will try our best! The tree is up and ready to get decorated tomorrow but we will be going to the town Christmas Tree Lighting and Hay rides tomorrow. Should have some cute pictures to put up probably some time Sunday. The Santa comes in on the Little Foot Ferry and the town is full of free stuff for the kids to enjoy. Until Then.....

One of our favorite places to hang out - yes it is Deception Pass we have lots of great memories there!

Thanksgiving.....

Was a lot of fun this year started some new traditions with our family this year. Dylan Jordan and I gave talks on Sunday in Sacrament. It was a neat experience to help them prepare and watch how much they have grown and learned in the gospel. It is truly a great time to be living here on the Earth today with the gospel in our lives.

Another week is gone.....

Well another successful and busy week has come and gone in our home. Lets see what is new?

Boys are preparing to go to the temple on Saturday the 22nd to do Baptisms for the dead. They are very excited. They are at the Bishops house right now for their monthly Bishops Devotional (they always come home from these so excited!) They have really jumped into this ward and are getting some much needed guidance from their leaders.

Kaitlyn is practicing her ABC's or as she calls them her "ABCB's" She can now sing all of the words to I am a Child of God and Itsy Bitsy Spider. She is getting so big.

David and I are doing just fine - busy work for David coming into the holidays and DHL is going out of business here in the states so that will put a lot of extra work on Fed Ex and UPS. Could be a good thing not sure yet~ We are slowly getting the pictures and things up around the house to make it feel like home. Then next thing you know we will be decorating for Christmas.

A day at the Park the boys love to take Kaitlyn to play. They are doing really well with her and adjusting to the loss of our mother. Things seem to be getting easier as time goes on.

David dressed up as Tigger and took Kaitlyn door to door and had a blast!
I dressed up as a fed ex girl for David and took pictures - as soon as i can figure out this hook up to put them on there. Or Dylan will do it before I can lol.

Fall Harvest party at the church was wonderful this year we had a live band can you believe it at the church in the gym it was so fun for the kids lots of games and music food and fun!
