WE ARE PREGNANT DUE OCTOBER 13 2009, IN THE MEAN TIME THE COMPUTER BROKE AND ALL SORTS OF DR APPOINTMENTS HAVE BEEN COMING UP AND BIRTHDAYS AND JUST LIFE IN GENERAL. TRYING OVER TO KEEP THIS UP TO DATE SORRY.

Heading into another great weekend....

So very much has been going on this week and a busy weekend is planned. Hopefully I will have time to upload pictures and fill you all in on the great changes and week and weekend! Hope you are doing well. We love and miss you all lots...

ps Kaitlyn is totally potty trained days and nights! Boy am I ever so happy that mission is complete!

Childrens Muesum Of Tacoma...

Went with Grandma yesterday and Cousin Madden to the Childrens Museum of Tacoma. The kids had fun but it is not as big or entertaining as the other ones we have enjoyed. But as always playing with her cousin is one of her favorite things to do.

Elizabeths Car Troubles....

So yes that is the two of us. Under the hood of her car adding gas to the carburetor to try to get her car started to get it home. It was hilarious to say the least. But we got it started and everyone safely home. Just one of our many adventures together. I am so glad we are such great friends and our kids are too. By the way that's Savannah's Mommy!

Bean Bag Game At Story Night

The kids love to play this game Ms. Shannon sings a song and they try to balance the bean bag on each body part! So cute and fun. This is after story time on Wednesdays.

The Great Sock Match 2009....

Not sure if you all have this at your house but once every 3 months or so we dump all the socks out in the living room and try to find their matches. Any socks left without a match end up being cleaning cloths and the ones who match get to find homes and stick around a while longer. Kaitlyn had so much fun playing while we were trying to match them up.

Spent last few hours

at the after hours clinic with Dylan being sick. We are waiting for blood test back to find out if its just tonsillitis or if its mono. I sure hope its not mono. We will See but until then.....

JORDAN GRADUATED!!

He has completed all of the necessary steps and is completely out of Special Ed for both learning and behavioral disabilities. It is so amazing to see what a great young man he has grown into. We are so very proud of him. We called his first teacher for that type of program in Oak Harbor and she said in her 8 years of teaching he is the FIRST student to ever mainstream out into all regular classes and in only a year and half it is AMAZING!~ Way to Go Jordan we are so proud of you!

Every Wednesday when boys go to mutual and Fridays we go to the library for story and craft time. The kids just love it!

We got a trampoline for Christmas but due to all the snow we had to wait to put it up. Now it took a few of us but its up and so much fun!!!

Its Sunday Sunday....

Another great week at our house! Kaitlyn is all done with Pull Ups and starting Pre-School 3 days a week. She loves it! We told her that in order to go to school you had to be in big girl panties and it worked like a charm. Boys are doing good with school. Jordan is graduating from the self contained classroom on Monday and then starting regular classes all day every day. He is so happy and we are so proud of him and all he has accomplished in such a short amount of time. Dylan is doing awesome in his classes he has 3 A's and 3 B's couldnt possibly ask for more! He is working hard on his Mass Communications and always helping out doing Year Book projects and things for the school. Spends a few days after school to shoot videos for upcoming events.

David and I are doing well. Just hanging in there with the economy but so is everyone huh? We have two foster girls for Respite care until next Sunday. They are doing fine adjusting to our home. We are off to get ready for Church and then have a foster care association activity tonight..... Its Skating and Pizza with the kids will be so much fun! The association does a monthly event and puts it on for free for foster parents and thier children.

Hope you all are doing well! We did get a tiny dusting of snow and the kids said "NO MORE SNOW!!!" I am glad to say I feel the exact same way!

All is well here with us....

Some new and exciting news David and I are licensed foster parents with the state! We are so excited to have the room at our home for two bedrooms to be available to help those kids in need. Will keep you posted as things are going on. We are off to get our membership at the YMCA to keep kids busy doing positive things.

Hope you are all doing well. This weather today is just amazing and beautiful. We even got some much needed yard work done with the kids home from school.

It has been a wonderful week here at our home. Hope things have been well for all of you also. Kaitlyn is on her 4th straight day of big girl pantys and on the potty with only 2 accidents total. It is so neat to watch her learn and grow. She is quite the young lady. The boys went back to school and are doing well in their classes. They are really enjoying the area over here and are making new friends every time i turn around.

With all of the flooding we called our old neighbors to see how things were going out at the old house on HWY 20 and its a good thing we moved.... That house is underwater! We are so blessed to have listened to the spirit and moved when the opportunity came or we would be swimming right now trying to get everything safe.

Things are going ok for David just working working. But he likes it. I am working on some of my New Years Goals and loving every minute of being a mommy.

First Sunday of 2009

This year we will have church at 1pm. The kids and David are all really happy they think they will be sleeping in on Sundays.... Not gonna happen. Still have things to do before church. I will be teaching the valiant 9's this year in primary. I am very excited they are a great group of kids. I have been a sub for them a couple of times. So its off to do the house work before church and throw dinner in the crock pot so when we get home at 4:15pm its not a mad rush to try to get dinner in the oven.

New Years Eve 2008 @ YMCA

The Boys played Broom Hockey at the Bremerton Ice Arena and had so much fun!

They played dodge ball for almost an hour, they were sweaty boys after that!

The events at the YMCA that the church planned were awesome. The kids started off eating snacks that were brought and shared by all. Then it was off to the swimming pool for a while. Then they went ice skating and then decided to try broom hockey. Then it was back to the main gym for some basketball, A little time in the weight room and exercise room. Then they opened up dodge ball and it was all over from there! We did the count down on SLC time so those who wanted to could head home before midnight. I could nt even begin to drag the kids out of there so we stayed and let them finish up all the activities they wanted to do. It was great fun watchin them laugh and play and have a great time.

Kaitlyn had lots of fun at grandma and grandpa house went to bed early. I am off to pick her up now and left a list for the boys and thier friends to clean up around here ~ lets see what they get done. They didnt go to sleep till around 4am. So i am sure they will be sleeping for a while.

New Years Eve....

So our plans for tonight are pretty busy but going to be fun time. Our stake has rented out the entire YMCA building from 7pm to 1 am. Thats right everything is open the pool, basketball courts, dodgeball, game room, EVERYTHING. They hired a band and are going to have all kinds of fun lined up for the kids to ring in the new year. Kaitlyn is too little to be staying up that late and still not feeling totally better so she will be packing her bags and going over to Gma and Gpa house ~ she will be in bed by 8 i am sure. But the kids and I will be partying like its 1999 all night at the YMCA. I will bring the camera and get some good pictures. Hope you all are having a fun and safe New Years too!

We had a wonderful evening last night visiting and eating at the Dolans last night. It was great to see everyone and spend time together creating such wonderful memories. The kids were talking about it all the way home. We will get some of the pictures up here later today.

Merry Christmas Eve....

From our house to yours! So due to weather, car problems and everything else going on our Christmas cards and photos will be out in the mail late this year. But its ok we have all our family together to enjoy the snow and spend time getting ready for Christmas tomorrow morning.

Hope all are doing well in the snow! Just so thankful and happy we are all safe and warm.

IDIOT DRIVERS AND THIER AFFECTS ON MY LIFE....

Nothing is more frustrating than people on the road that do not take time to clean the ice and snow off of their car before they get onto the highway....

So poor David minding his own business today driving to work had a piece of ice fall off the truck in front of him bust the radiator in his car and ended up on the side of I-5 at 6 oclock this morning.

Looooooooooooooooong day short after paying to have the car towed (never have the WSP call for you - you have to pay the WSP charge of 150.00 per hour for towing instead of normal hook and mileage) and buying a new radiator - tomorrow morning David will be changing it out and hopefully going to work tomorrow!

Man sucks that other peoples stupidity can rreally fumble up your day huh?

We were a little late in getting the snow but we are sure catching up fast! It has been lots of fun playing outside and sledding with the kids. Snow is still falling fast and sadly to say David still has to work Monday Tuesday and Wednesday...I know Still no update on friday and saturday we will let you know when we know. I guess its part of the job working for FedEx but hey I love my delivery man!
